Oxford Green Week is back on the 16-24 June 2018

By John Charlton

Oxford Green Week is a city-wide summer festival which uses culture, creativity and community to inspire local people to take action against climate change.

It’s a celebration of all things good and green in Oxford city and aims to show local people how they can save money, get fit and be happy whilst being kind to the environment.

In Oxford Green Week in 2017 over 60 local organisations worked in partnership to offer over 100 events across nine days, with an estimated 40,000 people attending events during the week.

The event is coordinated by Oxford City Council in partnership with Community Action Groups Oxfordshire (CAG), Good Food Oxford, Oxford Brookes University, University of Oxford, Environmental Change Institute, and Lady Margaret Hall.
