One Small Step at the Burton Taylor Studio

By John Charlton

A galactic Easter treat lands in the BT Studio this April. Following 5-star rave reviews and an international tour where it visited 20 countries and was seen by more than 19,000 people, One Small Step is all set for another fast and furious trip to the moon.

The play recounts the race between the United States and the Soviet Union to send the first man to the moon. In 60 thrilling minutes, two actors conjure more than 40 characters and 50 years of history using simple household objects, bringing to life the history of this amazing exploration and human endeavour into the unknown.

Louise Chantal, Oxford Playhouse’s CEO says: ‘One Small Step is one of the most successful children’s shows ever to be seen in Oxford. Imaginative, visual and above all fun for all ages, it’s a classic show. I can’t wait to see it again!’

Full of emotion, epic achievements and humour, this production, which has delighted people from Azerbaijan to Sri Lanka, makes a welcome return home to Oxford this Easter holiday and beyond.

Thursday 5 to Sunday 15 April
