Artweeks announces winter exhibitions

By John Charlton

Oxfordshire Artweeks has announced its winter exhibition schedule which starts this November.

Artweeks is an artists’ organisation that promotes the work of Oxfordshire artists with a county-wide May Festival and a season of Christmas exhibitions. Throughout November and December many of the Artweeks artists and designer-makers hold pop-up exhibitions and Christmas Fairs or open their studios to give visitors the chance to find unique gifts for the festive season.

Visitors will be able to meet artists in a wide range of interesting places, talk about their work and watch demonstrations. There is a huge range of creative activity, from painting, photography, textiles, sculpture and ceramics, to furniture, glass, mosaics, jewellery, digital art and much more.

Established in 1981, Oxfordshire Artweeks is the country’s oldest and biggest open studio event.
