Appeal for information after attempted abduction on Blackbird Leys

Thames Valley Police is appealing for information after an attempted abduction in Blackbird Leys.

Between 5.10pm and 5.20pm on Friday (April 4), the victim, a 10-year-old boy, was walking in Cuddesdon Way.

He was approached by a man who grabbed his wrist and said “You’re coming with me”.

The boy managed to get away and make his way safely home.  He was not injured.

The offender is white, between 35 and 40 years old, 5ft 9 to 6ft tall, slim build with short black hair and stubble and distinctive eyes – one brown eye and one eye which was green and brown.

He was wearing a white t-shirt and dark blue jeans.

There was a vehicle which drove past during the incident and police would like to speak to the driver or passengers of this vehicle as they may have information which could help with the investigation.
